Fabrication procedures and tolerances will be defined, in order to optimize the joint fabrication using LCT. This is fundamental for the efficient functionality of proposed joints. Joint typologies will be pre-designed, which will be the first inputs to the numerical sensitivity analyses performed in WP3. With the results of sensitivity analysis, design of test specimens will be completed. Final geometrical properties, profile sizes, and mechanical properties of joint configurations will be decided at this WP. Then, behaviour of these joint configurations will be studied in the following WPs, experimentally and numerically.
